How Scratch Off Stickers Work
- Write or print your hidden message on your card, worksheet, coupon, invitation, or other material.
- Make sure the message fits completely underneath the scratch off sticker.
- Apply by tabber, labeler (requires a 3" cardboard core), or hand apply. Peel the sticker from the backing and place it over the hidden message.
- Press firmly so the sticker adheres smoothly.
- For best results, allow 48 hours for the adhesive to fully bond to the card before scratching.
- Let the recipient scratch with a coin or Scratcher Chip to reveal the message. Do not use a fingernail. A coin or Scratcher Chip is recommended for a cleaner reveal.

Very cool item. Used these to make custom scratch off games for friends and family to guess the gender of our baby last Fall. Attached is a graphical representation of what we did, and not the actual scratch off, but the scratch off was perfect. Put "It's a Girl" under both scratch offs, applied the circle stickers, and sent them off. Fun way to reveal the gender without paying crazy custom prices for generic scratch offs.
