How Scratch Off Stickers Work
- Write or print your hidden message on your card, worksheet, coupon, invitation, or other material.
- Make sure the message fits completely underneath the scratch off sticker.
- Apply by tabber, labeler (requires a 3" cardboard core), or hand apply. Peel the sticker from the backing and place it over the hidden message.
- Press firmly so the sticker adheres smoothly.
- For best results, allow 48 hours for the adhesive to fully bond to the card before scratching.
- Let the recipient scratch with a coin or Scratcher Chip to reveal the message. Do not use a fingernail. A coin or Scratcher Chip is recommended for a cleaner reveal.

These hologram scratch-off labels are popular for business cards, thank you cards, and DIY scratch-off games. I really wanted these to work for my Giveaway Event. They are much prettier than the solid gray ones I used in the past but you can see what they looked like after scratching them with a coin. I personally think they made an ugly mess on the card. In addition, I had to REALLY scrape hard to get it off. I was afraid it was going to rub a hole through the card. Unfortunately I'm back to using the plain ole gray ones from before.

Exactly what I was looking for. They adhere well and scratch off clear. The dust they make (from being scratched) sparkles like very tiny rainbow glitter due to the holographic nature of the sticker, which was fun to find out.🙃 Only odd thing about them is the little dots they have that look similar to golf ball dimples (with no texture). They don’t bother me too much but I definitely notice them when the stickers aren’t reflecting color.

I originally bought 100 of the holographic scratch offs and also a cheaper (other brand) plain silver to try. I fell in love with the holographic ones. They are durable and won't scratch off accidentally. The other brand was not even worth wasting my time or money on. These scratch offs worked so great I bought a roll of 500.
These looked amazing on my bridal shower scratch off cards but it is very hard to scratch. You can not scratch it off with your nail. You need a coin or something and you need to press hard.
Smaller than what I expected but worked well for my project
Made my own "match five" gender reveal cards to share with family and put these stickers over the icons. I did a lot of research before buying these and it paid off! These don't rub off when traveling or when bumped. Only with coins! Long as you use your hand behind it, they're easy to scratch off with the coins!And yes, I do realize I said they don't scratch off easily AND they scratch off easily. Unless you want them to scratch off, they don't. They're just wonderful!
