How Scratch Off Stickers Work
  1. Write or print your hidden message on your card, worksheet, coupon, invitation, or other material.
  2. Make sure the message fits completely underneath the scratch off sticker.
  3. Apply by tabber, labeler (requires a 3" cardboard core), or hand apply. Peel the sticker from the backing and place it over the hidden message.
  4. Press firmly so the sticker adheres smoothly.
  5. For best results, allow 48 hours for the adhesive to fully bond to the card before scratching.
  6. Let the recipient scratch with a coin or Scratcher Chip to reveal the message. Do not use a fingernail. A coin or Scratcher Chip is recommended for a cleaner reveal.

These are great, but you must use a key or a coin to scratch. A fingernail won’t do it. Just don’t be like me and mistakenly LOSE the winning ticket!! I was very embarrassed no one had the ticket. Found the ticket later that night. Actually I think my son didn’t want to be the winner so he sat his ticket down without scratching it off. Oh well, everyone was impressed with the idea and asked where I got them!
