How Scratch Off Stickers Work
- Write or print your hidden message on your card, worksheet, coupon, invitation, or other material.
- Make sure the message fits completely underneath the scratch off sticker.
- Apply by tabber, labeler (requires a 3" cardboard core), or hand apply. Peel the sticker from the backing and place it over the hidden message.
- Press firmly so the sticker adheres smoothly.
- For best results, allow 48 hours for the adhesive to fully bond to the card before scratching.
- Let the recipient scratch with a coin or Scratcher Chip to reveal the message. Do not use a fingernail. A coin or Scratcher Chip is recommended for a cleaner reveal.

These are amazing and they worked perfect. Another nice feature about the scratch off stickers is that the back of the stickers are black (if that makes sense) so that you could even put these on plain printer paper and if you hold the paper up to the light you sill can’t see through them. They also scratch off nicely.

I use these on "lottery cards" with my elementary students as prizes. I have used the plain scratch off stickers in the past and thought these would be a fun upgrade. We found them very difficult to scratch off; the kids could not do it as easily as the plain stickers. Unfortunately, I had to return them.
