How Scratch Off Stickers Work
  1. Write or print your hidden message on your card, worksheet, coupon, invitation, or other material.
  2. Make sure the message fits completely underneath the scratch off sticker.
  3. Apply by tabber, labeler (requires a 3" cardboard core), or hand apply. Peel the sticker from the backing and place it over the hidden message.
  4. Press firmly so the sticker adheres smoothly.
  5. For best results, allow 48 hours for the adhesive to fully bond to the card before scratching.
  6. Let the recipient scratch with a coin or Scratcher Chip to reveal the message. Do not use a fingernail. A coin or Scratcher Chip is recommended for a cleaner reveal.

I ordered these in a pinch because I needed a larger size than I typically use for a custom order. I was expecting the same silver/metallic/shiny quality I get from a different vendor. These were gray, not silver and they weren’t shiny. They looked grainy too. In the photo you can see what I mean by grainy. Unfortunately I had to use these because I didn’t have time to order and wait from somewhere else.
